We are now looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join our Mechanics team in Oulu. As our Staff Process Engineer you will be involved in the development of new process technologies and the subsequent transfer to mass production during industrialization.

What You will do: 

  • Contribute to the development and optimization of process technologies
  • Execute and follow-up defined process engineering and industrialization projects
  • Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
  • Collect, analyze and report of experimental data, follow-up of project tasks (timelines) and report about progress
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness
  • Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, such as cycle time, yield and scrap rate and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive measures.
  • Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes, procedures and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.

We would love to have you on our team, if You have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in B.Sc or M.Sc degree in a relevant field of study (chemical, mechanical, industrial or similar)
  • Over 8 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of process optimisation techniques, lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysis, DOE
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex process issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • MCAD skills preferred
