Overview
As Staff Hardware Product Manager, you will drive the evolution of Tonal’s hardware products, including the Tonal Trainer and Accessories. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for growth through hardware product innovation and working cross-functionally to bring concepts to life.
What You Will DoStrategically evolve and grow hardware products and accessories to constantly deliver a better user experience and better business outcomes for TonalIdentify opportunities via market research, customer interviews, and analytics, in partnership with product marketingConceptualize, define, and drive hardware initiatives in partnership with engineering, design, and programs teamsLead product requirements creation including definition of use cases, user experience and feature specifications to detail how products and product features should be builtManage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance, profitability, and operational support loadBuild consensus around product strategy and definitionManage multiple concurrent hardware initiativesCommunicate details to senior management and the rest of the organizationWho You Are9+ years product management experience preferably with combined HW/SW productsPassionate about health and fitness and helping our members be their strongestProven success leading the development and launch of consumer electronics devices, including both hardware and software componentsUnderstanding of hardware unit economics, business modelling, refresh timelines, and development costsVery analytically rigorous but also a consumer-experience-first thinkerAn extremely creative thinker, always challenging and improving your workAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesVery high attention to detail and organizationHighly effective communicatorThe range of base salary for the position is between $179,000 - $232,000 USD plus equity and benefits. We take into consideration an individual’s background, experience, and location in determining their salary. This role is also eligible for health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, flexible paid time off, parental leave, and other additional benefits.
