<div>WHOOP is seeking a Staff Technical Lead in Electrical Engineering to lead electrical development efforts across our wearable hardware platform.

This role will drive the development of current and next-generation products while also advancing performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of electrical systems at scale.

You will operate at the intersection of electrical design and electrical system architecture while owning critical electrical decisions.</div></br><b>

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers, providing technical direction, prioritization, and ongoing mentorship.&nbsp;
• </li>
• <li>
• Act as technical lead across one or more hardware programs, balancing hands-on execution with strategic guidance.
• </li>
• <li>
• Architect, design, and validate low-power, low-noise, mixed-signal electronics in highly integrated and miniaturized form factors.
• </li>
• <li>
• Drive electrical initiatives including product performance optimization, design for manufacturing, reliability enhancements, cost reduction, and second-sourcing.
• </li>
• <li>
• Partner cross-functionally with Mechanical, Firmware, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure robust system integration and scalable production.
• </li>

• Own electrical development across the product lifecycle.
• </li>
• <li>
• Lead root cause investigations for field and production issues and implement validated electrical solutions.
• </li>
• <li>
• Collaborate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to support builds, define test strategies, and improve yield across global production lines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• </li>
• <li>
• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering across product development and/or high-volume manufacturing.
• </li>
• <li>
• Strong foundation in analog, digital, power systems, and mixed-signal design.
• </li>
• <li>
• Proven ability to deliver hardware at scale.
• </li>
• <li>
• Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring engineers and driving technical execution through others.
• </li>
• <li>
• Experience with ECAD tools (Altium preferred) and strong lab/debug skills.
• </li>
• <li>
• Effective cross-functional collaborator with strong communication skills.
• </li>
• <li>
• Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.

• Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
• Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.&nbsp;</em></div>
