About the role and about You:

The Data Team at Zwift is a multidisciplinary team that evangelizes a data driven culture and delivers answers and insights to Watopians every day. We are looking for a strong, curious, analytical mind who can see the full data life-cycle, drive requirements, and both identify and proactively advocate for changes that Zwift should make. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to align and drive collaboration across leaders on the Data Team and our cross-functional partners in Marketing, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Community Support.  This role will strive for execution excellence, optimization, and consistently support/unblock our teams. The ideal candidate is highly experienced in building, growing, scaling, and supporting rapidly growing teams. In this position, you must be comfortable navigating the unknown, driving clarity, managing competing priorities, and elevating others to ensure they’re doing their best work. Though this is a strategic role, there are still times when you’ll need to get in the weeds and do the work -- we’re in search of a candidate with a strong analytical background who can think strategically/own high level initiatives, but tag in as an executor and doer. 

What you’ll do:

  • Establish practices and processes that ensure delivery is high-quality, optimized, and sustainable
  • Ensure work at the team level aligns and ladders up to the portfolio roadmap, support teams in exposing any interdependencies 
  • Act as a strategic partner and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to set and achieve product objectives and goals
  • Create and manage high-visibility programs: reporting, risk management, resourcing, and dependency tracking
  • Cultivate relationships within the organization and collaborate with strategic partners 
  • Always level up - be the primary driver and facilitator of improving team performance and elevating one another
  • Clearly message priorities to stakeholders and teams, build communications channels and reports to increase visibility
  • Support Inclusive facilitation - create and build a space for team members that is psychologically safe, empower teams to move fast and fail forward

What we’re looking for: 

  • 8+ years of technical program management, including managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules
  • Thought leader with experience working autonomously and leading in a cross-functional setting
  • 8+ years of combined experience in Data - consulting, analytics, technical program or project management 
  • Experience in leading and managing people, scaling teams, and developing a team culture.
  • Demonstrated experience of driving clarity and ushering large, complex projects through successful delivery
  • A high level of comfortability with executive communication
  • Experience with using product and customer-centric approaches and systems
  • Success in leading agile teams at scale
  • A strong desire to deliver results and to continuously elevate yourself and your teammates

The base salary for this position ranges between $160,500 to $204,500. The base salary will be based on a number of factors including the role offered, the individual's job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, Zwift is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package for all eligible employees which also includes performance bonuses, equity, and a full range of medical, financial, and other perks and benefits.
