Who You Are: As a Nutrabolt Strategic Insights Manager, you will elevate our commercial efforts and work cross-functionally to curate insights from market and shopper data, translate those insights into business strategy and study the results. You are the expert on shopper behavior and can connect it with point-of-sale data trends to form a compelling narrative. You will ensure the feedback loop of corporate strategy and market performance are well connected and focused on continuous improvement. This position will manage and maximize existing resources to surface insights that drive action. You will also implement new capabilities and vendors aligned with those efforts.

This role is eligible to participate in our Sales Bonus Plan.             

What You're Good At:

  • Flexible analysis skills to lead complex business analyses and projects from concept to completion
  • Strong presentation and visual presentation skills to tailor insights and gain consensus
  • Act as liaison to manage research partners/data provider relationship
  • Educate internal partners on appropriate applications of available sources of consumer, distributor, shopper and customer data and build tools to democratize that knowledge with data tools
  • Collaborate with sales, consumer insights, and marketing teams to understand current business questions and emerging priorities to develop, manage and execute research that provides meaningful and actionable findings
  • Study the category and portfolio to influence channel strategy and own key aspects of innovation vetting
  • Build and present recurring deliverables for internal executive level reports and dashboards
  • Execute quick turnaround requests from the cross-functional partners, to become the expert on shopper behavior
  • Own routine aspects of report maintenance and data integrity
  • Stay current on consumer trends, category insights, and competitive performance and broadcast this information internally
  • In this role your goals and KPIs will be focused around:
    • Increased Category Share
    • Increased distribution (ACV, TPD, Items on Shelf)
    • Successful Innovation
    • Increased brand velocity

What You Contribute: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or analytics
  • Minimum of four years’ experience in Shopper Insights, Category Management, Brand Management or other CPG Analytics
  • Hands-on experience working with Numerator or IRI/Nielsen National Consumer Panel data
  • Hands-on experience with IRI, Nielsen, SPINS or other Point-of-sale data sources
  • Expert/Mastery of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, and Power Point
  • Tableau or Power BI experience is a plus
  • Deep familiarity with CPG metrics (ACV, TPD, Velocity)
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly analytical
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of beverage category management concepts and analysis
  • Familiarity with DSD Route-to-Markt a plus
  • History of People Management a plus
