OVERVIEW

An active member of the yoga community with excellent communication skills who is punctual and reliable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain ALO Yoga brand aesthetic, energy, and culture.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures and approach all situations with respect and empathy.
  • Customer Service:
    • Greet and assist clients, providing exceptional customer service.
    • Respond to inquiries via phone or in-person regarding classes, schedules, and studio policies.
    • Handle client registrations, check-ins, and payments accurately.
    • Communicate any client needs or concerns to the Studio Manager promptly and log appropriately.
  • Studio Maintenance:
    • Ensure the studio is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
    • Manage inventory of mats, yoga props, and supplies, restocking as requested.
    • Perform cleaning duties as required.
    • Set up the studio space before classes and clean up afterward.
  • Sales and Upselling:
    • Promote and sell memberships and class packages to clients.
    • Encourage clients to explore different classes and workshops offered.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently to complete assigned tasks with minimal oversight.

  • Previous Customer Service experience.

  • Proficiency in using software for administrative tasks.

  • MindBody experience preferred.

  • Seniority Level: Entry level

Part-Time non-exempt associates are expected to work up to 29 hours per week. All employees' availability must suit the needs of the business, which are subject to change. The General/ Store Manager determines availability needs and creates a schedule including morning, evening, and weekend shifts. All employees are expected to be able to work from the week of Thanksgiving including “Black Friday” (the day after US Thanksgiving) and that weekend until the end of the holiday season, first week of January.

The Company’s Associate base pay ranges up to $17.00 per hour. Please also note, Associates are eligible to participate in the Company’s Monthly Store Incentive bonus program, which may result in bringing the total compensation to a higher range. Further, the range listed is just one component of the Company’s total rewards package for retail employees. Other rewards may include: clothing allowance, employee discount, 401K, competitive medical, dental, and vision plans, commuter benefits, Talkspace, and AloMoves.
