Academic Year Internship Program Details 

Program Dates: September 21, 2026 – April 23, 2027 

Time Commitment: 16-24 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need.  We will do our best to accommodate course schedules. 

Format: Opportunities listed will require an intern to work from New York, NY. 

Academic Year Recruitment Timeline 

April 20: Applications open 

May 8: Applications close at 11:59pm ET (we recommend you submit your application as soon as possible – applications may close earlier due to applicant volume!)  

Early May – Mid June: First round video interviews    

Mid June – Mid July: Second round interviews   

Throughout July: Selected candidates receive offers

Operations & Technology: (O&T) is a $1B operating cash flow ($1.5B FCF) division of NBCUniversal. The group functions as a global shared service within NBCUniversal performing critical functions including Media, Broadcast and Studio Operations & Production, Content Supply Chain, Information Technology and Engineering, as well as Cyber Security. The group operates from numerous locations around the world, including New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Denver, Connecticut, and London.     

Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to: 

• Sustainability Strategy: It's an exciting time to work with the NBCU Sustainability team! The team works on a myriad of sustainability implementation projects across the enterprise as part of our roadmap to carbon neutral by 2035. The team is also responsible for emissions reporting, employee engagement, sustainability long-range-planning, forecasting, project tracking, and sustainability data analysis. Support the Sustainability Strategy team with operational sustainability projects connected with our corporate goal to be carbon neutral by 2035. Projects are focused on reducing emissions & waste, engaging employees, and setting internal targets.
