This position is the senior financial leader for NCS and is responsible for the financial well-being of the organization. The SVP of Finance will lead our finance and accounting teams and drive financial planning, analysis, and strategy for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and leadership, with a proven track record of managing financial operations and driving business growth through sound financial management practices.

RESPONSIBILITIESProvides leadership, direction, and management of the finance and accounting teamOffers strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team on financial planning and results management, including working with team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for trackingManages the processes for financial forecasting and budgets and the preparation of all financial reportingAdvises on long-term business and financial planningDevelops financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements -- and developing action plans.Establishes finance operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; resolving problems; and implementing changeEnsures cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operationsEnsures compliance with the law and company policiesManages all tax planning and compliance with all required federal, state, local, payroll, property, and other applicable taxesSupervises all finance/accounting personnelWorks closely, as appropriate, with NCS parent companies to meet required reporting needsInteracts with the board of directorsOther duties as assignedPOSITION QUALIFICATIONSMSc/MBA or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent experience.CPA, CFA, or MBA preferredExperience in a senior management positionProficiency with accounting software, word processing, and spreadsheetsSolid GAAP and financial reporting technical skillsStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlinesAbility to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and timeOur comprehensive benefits package (including health & wellness plans, 401(k) retirement coupled with a NCS match, a generous paid time off policy, and if eligible, a discretionary incentive/bonus) is designed to be inclusive for all employees and families, and we take pride in ensuring that employees are rewarded holistically for the role they are doing and their performance.
A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be between $150,000- $250,000, which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location. The position of each employee within a compensation range at NCS is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications and other business requirements/needs.
