Your Mission

The Talent Acquisition Lead owns hiring at BEAT81.

You are responsible for attracting exceptional people who raise the bar across the company. Great hires build great teams, great teams build great products and experiences, and great companies grow because of them. Your job is to make sure BEAT81 consistently hires exceptional talent while creating a hiring experience that candidates and hiring managers genuinely enjoy.

This is a hands-on role. You personally lead recruitment across all business functions while helping build a hiring culture based on quality, speed and shared accountability. As the function grows, you may coach a Working Student or Talent Acquisition Intern.

What you will own

Exceptional hiring. You own hiring end-to-end across BEAT81, ensuring we consistently attract, assess and hire outstanding talent who strengthen our culture and business.

Collaboration with hiring managers. You partner closely with leaders across the business, challenging, coaching and supporting them to make better hiring decisions. Hiring is a shared responsibility, and you create the structure and accountability that enables it.

Our recruitment engine. You build strong talent pipelines, proactively source (also by leveraging AI)  exceptional candidates and continuously improve our recruitment processes, tools and employer brand to help us scale. 

Hiring excellence. You raise the bar by introducing structured interviews, data-driven decision making and consistent hiring standards that improve quality and candidate experience.

Recruitment insights. You create visibility through data, tracking pipeline health, hiring performance and recruitment priorities so the business can make informed decisions and invest where it matters most.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of Talent Acquisition experience in a high-growth startup, scale-up or technology business.
• A proven track record of hiring across Product, Engineering, Operations and Corporate functions.
• Exceptional sourcing skills
• Early adopter of AI and modern recruiting technologies, with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong stakeholder management with the confidence to challenge and influence senior leaders.
• Experience with structured interviewing and evidence-based hiring.
• Experience using Greenhouse or a comparable ATS.
• A data-driven mindset and continuous improvement mentality.
• Fluent English. German is a plus.
