Sporty is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist based in South Africa to help us grow our South Africa and Global teams. You’ll be part of our Talent Acquisition function, supporting hiring for Customer Support, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Media, with plenty of opportunities to contribute to wider international recruitment projects.
This is a mid-level position, well-suited to someone who already has hands-on recruitment experience and wants to develop further in a global, fast-paced scale-up environment.
You’ll play a key role in building strong pipelines, managing full recruitment cycles, and delivering a great candidate experience.
What you'll doManage recruitment end-to-end, from sourcing and screening to closing offersBuild pipelines for Customer Support and commercial roles across South Africa and wider regionsPartner with hiring managers and regional leads to understand needs and advise on hiring strategiesWrite and post engaging job descriptions that attract top local talentProvide a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the processSource directly via LinkedIn and other platforms to identify and engage with candidatesKeep ATS pipelines accurate and up to date, providing regular reports on progressCollaborate with the international TA team to share best practices and align on processesWhat you'll bring2–3+ years’ experience in recruitment (agency or in-house), ideally with exposure to Customer Support and Commercial hiringProven ability to manage full recruitment cycles independentlyStrong sourcing skills, with recent experience using LinkedIn RecruiterComfortable managing multiple roles and competing deadlinesExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong written and verbal communication in EnglishAbility to thrive in a remote-first, international environmentKnowledge of South African employment laws and recruitment practices is a plusWhat’s In It For You
