Responsibilities:

In order to support our rapid growth, Wasserman has built a robust internship program designed to introduce aspiring sporting professionals to the industry and our company. As part of this program, interns will have an opportunity to acquire broad exposure to the Football division while being integrated into the day-today fabric of this team.

As an Intern you will:

  • Assist department as necessary with special projects.
  • Performs various departmental support tasks.
  • Assist as necessary with the maintenance of client relationships.
  • Conduct research to assist in business development and prospecting efforts.
  • Daily tracking of players.

The above forms the main areas of responsibility for this role, but it is not exhaustive and it should be noted that duties may change over time, so the need for flexibility is key and the job-holder will be expected to co-operate with reasonable changes as required.

This internship will be for 2-3 weeks depending on availability.

Requirements

  • GCSE Math’s & English grade A-C
  • Understanding of a range of sports
  • Well-developed organisational, time management, and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrate initiative, and problem solve.
  • Articulate with excellent communication and diplomacy skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organised.
  • Ability to build strong lasting relationships.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to develop client facing presentations / materials.
  • Passion for sports.
  • Comfortable with desk based research, reading lots of articles and putting together summary documentations. 
  • Comfortable working in a small team where your working objectives can change depending on the immediate needs of the company. 
  • A creative thinker who is able to produce original ideas by thinking both laterally and literally.
  • A team player who works best in a mix of different people and enjoys helping other people develop their ideas.
  • Always up for a challenge. You jump into new projects head first with a positive attitude.
