The T&E Analyst is responsible for managing review and approval of all travel and expense related activity, ensuring compliance with expense policies, reconciliation of data in the expense reporting system to payments, reconciliation of business related corporate card transactions, and providing exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders. This position requires strong analytical skills, a high degree of accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and process expense reports daily.
  • Audit employee expense reports ensuring adherence to Policy.
  • Support Concur Administrator for the expense management application.
  • Support Card Administrator for the corporate credit card program.
  • Identify, capture, and communicate exceptions to Policy to management.
  • Maintain user help desk, respond to inquiries about the expense reporting application, provide support and engage in solutions to user problems to ensure user satisfaction.
  • Ensure system audit rules, reminders, and system settings are operating correctly, and employee data is updated accurately and activated.
  • Work with the General Accounting team on process improvement and efficiencies where appropriate

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Accounting degree preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum of (5) five years’ experience processing expense reports.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task.
  • Possess analytical skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in travel and expense systems.
  • Proficient with MS Excel.
  • Location: NYC in-office

Pay Range: $75,000 - $100,000.  

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skills and any other factors Major League Baseball (MLB) considers relevant to the hiring decision.
