Job Description

Riot Games was established in 2006 by entrepreneurial gamers who believe that player-focused game development can result in great games. In 2009, Riot released its debut title League of Legends to critical and player acclaim. As the most played video game in the world, over 100 million play every month. Players form the foundation of our community and it’s for them that we continue to evolve and improve the League of Legends experience.

We’re looking for humble but ambitious, razor-sharp professionals who can teach us a thing or two. We promise to return the favor. Like us, you take play seriously; you’re passionate about games. We embrace those who see things differently, aren’t afraid to experiment, and who have a healthy disregard for constraints.

That's where you come in.

As a Technical Producer on the Wild Rift team, you will drive clarity, coordination, and execution across security, live operations, internal tooling, and cross-functional technical programs. You will partner closely with engineering leaders, senior technical program managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to turn ambiguous problems into actionable plans, build durable operating rhythms, and keep critical initiatives moving from definition through delivery. This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable working in technical environments, navigating complexity, and bringing structure to fast-moving live service development.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive cross-functional technical programs across the Wild Rift technical organization, from scope definition and planning through execution and delivery
  • Drive delivery for initiatives by maintaining clear timelines, removing blockers, and keeping stakeholders informed with concise status communication
  • Improve live operational readiness and incident response workflows, including triage coordination, quality monitoring, post-incident follow-ups, and operational runbooks
  • Partner with senior TPM and team leads to align priorities and drive smooth delivery of the team's roadmap
  • Build and maintain dashboards, documentation, and reporting that improve visibility, predictability, and decision-making across the team
  • Help establish an intake and prioritization process for internal tooling requests, partner with engineering teams on execution, and track adoption and outcomes
  • Coordinate Compliance activities, third-party security testing schedules, track audit and remediation work, and facilitate security review processes
  • Build execution plans, define milestones, manage dependencies, surface risks, and drive alignment across engineering and partner teams

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working as a Producer, Technical Producer, Project Manager, Program Manager, or in a comparable role within software, game development, or live service environments
  • Demonstrated experience owning and driving technical programs or complex cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution
  • Ability to understand technical systems, constraints, dependencies, and tradeoffs well enough to facilitate decisions and keep work moving
  • Experience partnering closely with engineers and technical stakeholders to define scope, manage risk, and deliver against milestones
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles, release management, and Agile delivery practices such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Experience supporting operational workflows such as release readiness, incident response, quality processes, or post-incident reviews
  • Hands-on experience managing project schedules, tracking deliverables, and coordinating dependencies across teams
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel
  • A proactive, self-directed mindset with judgment in ambiguous or fast-moving situations
  • Professional fluency in both Mandarin and English

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in mobile game development, running live service games or games-as-a-service environments
  • Experience with live service operations, incident management workflows, or operational excellence programs
  • Experience with security reviews, compliance-related workflows, or third-party testing coordination
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools
  • Experience co-developing features or coordinating deliverables with external development partners
