We are looking for a talented and highly enthusiastic in-house Technical Sound Designer to join our award-winning development team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Take ownership of audio and its supporting systems, and port them to the target platforms
    • Ensure the title meets performance and memory targets for the platforms
    • Ensure the title meets mix standards for the platforms
    • Ensure the title's audio translates to multiple setups, from headphones to speakers and surround sound
    • Utilise platform features to champion and expand the game's audio on the new platforms

Requirements

    • Experience with Unreal Engine 4 / 5
    • Proficiency with audio middleware (Wwise and/or FMOD)
    • Proficiency with visual programming languages (Unreal Blueprints / Max MSP / Pure Data)
    • Knowledge of modern audio technology like ambisonics, Dolby Atmos, and 3D audio
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Good problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
    • Proficiency with at least one DAW (preferably Reaper)

Bonus points:

  • Familiarity with C++
  • Experience with Unreal Engine's audio systems
  • Experience with current-gen console platforms
