OVERVIEW
As a Technology Intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your technical skills and knowledge to real-world projects. You will work closely with our technology team to drive innovation, optimize processes, and enhance the digital experience for our customers. The 8-week Alo internship programs starts June 10th and ends August 2nd. Interns will be working 40 hours a week at our Beverly Hills headquarters.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions that improve our e-commerce platform and customer experience.
- Utilize data analysis techniques and machine learning algorithms to extract insights, identify trends, and enhance decision-making processes.
- Assist in designing and optimizing the architecture of our systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies such as blockchain, IoT, and cloud computing, and explore their potential applications in our business.
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and assist in maintaining hardware and software systems.
- Create and maintain documentation for technical processes, procedures, and project updates. Generate reports to track key performance metrics and project outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Recent graduate or are currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C/C++, or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software development methodologies.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js) and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow).
- Cybersecurity knowledge and experience is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for technology and innovation.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
- Must consent to arranging your own travel and accommodations if you are not based in the immediate LA area
