Our technology proposition has expanded beyond data management and analytics to include the essential technologies we believe sports rights-owners require to grow audiences and revenues in 2023 and beyond.

Over the past 24 months, we have successfully delivered website and app builds, as well as OTT solutions for renowned sports organizations such as the NFL and FIBA. We have also implemented cutting-edge technologies for prestigious clients like Liverpool FC, F1, and FIFA.

With a dedicated team of over 80 technologists, including solution architects, engineers, UX designers, and delivery managers, we operate primarily from our offices in London and Melbourne.

Requirements

Two Circles are seeking an experienced Technology Pre-Sales Consultant to join our emergent BD team. In this role, you will serve as a crucial bridge between our Technology Team, BD Team, and the broader business.

Your primary responsibilities will involve leading tech-focused BD processes, integrating tech propositions with Group BD opportunities, and securing profitable revenue for Two Circles within our targeted client category and project type for our Technology Propositions & Team.

You will report directly to Phil Stephan, the Group Director with overall responsibility for BD, while also having a dotted line report to Wyndham Richardson, the Group Director with overall responsibility for Technology.

Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

Technology Propositions

  • Developing generic and bespoke BD materials for Two Circles Technology propositions making it easier for clients and fellow Two Circlers to understand Two Circles’ technology propositions
  • Integrating technology with strategy, marketing, content and rights services and solutions to develop propositions that solve client business problems

Opportunity Generation, Management and Pre-Sales

  • Collaborate with Tech proposition owners across Digital Products, Sales & Service Automation, Martech, and Data Management & Analytics to identify, nurture, and close BD opportunities that meet revenue targets and drive sustainable growth
  • Act as the key interface between Two Circles Technology Team and BD Team, representing Technology in planning meetings and Group BD processes
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of Technology opportunities using Two Circles' internal CRM system

Proposals, Pitches, & Processes

  • Lead the project management of Technology competitive (RFPs) and non-competitive proposals and pitches, including running pitch teams
  • Make meaningful contributions to RFP responses, proposals, and pitches that effectively articulate our solutions and convey their benefits to clients, resulting in increased opportunity conversion rates and average order values (AOVs)

We are seeking an exceptional individual who is eager to define this role and contribute to the growth of our technology business:

  • Prior experience working for a technology company
  • Direct or indirect experience in leading BD processes
  • Strong understanding of BD theory, principles, and approaches
  • Proven team player who thrives in collaborative environments
  • Deep expertise in one or more areas of digital products, CRM, data, martech, or related technologies
  • Keenness to broaden knowledge across and beyond our tech proposition
  • Knowledge of and/or interest in sports (desirable but not necessary)
  • Ability to identify opportunities for enhancing business performance within and beyond their immediate area of responsibility


Estimated Salary range:

Our salary intelligence, powered by our AI algorithms, has calculated an estimated range for this position between $50,000 - $75,000 . Please note that the actual salary for this position may vary, as it is dependent on various factors including but not limited to experience, location, and market dynamics.
