The Telehealth Operations Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the seamless delivery of telehealth services by coordinating essential operational processes, ensuring provider compliance, and supporting workforce technology needs. This position is primarily responsible for coordinating key operational activities, including clinician training, billing, and day-to-day telehealth service logistics, to ensure smooth, efficient, and timely service delivery. This role will also support tasks related to the recruitment, credentialing, licensing, and onboarding of telehealth providers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to maintain compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.

Additionally, the Telehealth Operations Specialist will assist with workforce management by supporting the clinician setup in platforms, such as EMR systems and other telehealth service tools, ensuring that providers have the necessary technology to deliver high-quality care. This role will also play a key role in coordinating provider and patient feedback mechanisms, ensuring that feedback is captured, analyzed, and used to drive continuous improvement and enhance the overall telehealth experience.
This role requires a strong ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing operational needs, and collaborate effectively across teams to ensure the telehealth network operates at peak efficiency, delivering both excellent patient care and provider support.

What You'll Do:
  • Routine Network Operations.
  • Coordinate operational processes such as clinician training, billing, scheduling and other administrative tasks that support the telehealth network.
  • Manage the logistical and procedural aspects of telehealth service delivery, ensuring smooth operations and timely execution of tasks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain efficient workflows and address any operational gaps or issues.
  • Provider onboarding and maintenance.
  • Ensure that contracted providers have the necessary resources and support to maintain compliance and good standing.
  • Coordinate key operational processes related to clinician recruitment, credentialing, licensing, and onboarding to ensure providers meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure providers are trained and compliant with organizational policies and healthcare regulations.
  • Facilitate  licensing for clinicians as required.
  • Clinician Platform Setup & Troubleshooting.
  • Support workforce management by assisting with the setup and configuration of necessary platforms (e.g., EMR systems, telehealth service platforms) to ensure providers can efficiently deliver telehealth services.
  • Coordinate  with IT and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of tools and platforms needed for telehealth services.
  • Troubleshoot  and resolving platform-related issues, ensuring providers have the necessary technology to carry out telehealth consultations and administrative tasks effectively.
  • Provider and Patient Feedback Management.
  • Assistwith the management of provider and patient feedback mechanisms to ensure continuous improvement and high levels of satisfaction across the telehealth network.
  • Analyze  feedback, identifying trends, and helping implement solutions to enhance the quality of telehealth services provided to both patients and providers.
  • Support the telehealth network’s efforts to improve patient care and provider experience through feedback-driven changes.

  • Who You Are:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in healthcare operations or administrative support roles, particularly in telehealth or clinical environments may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 1-2 years of healthcare operational experience, with at least 1 year of experience in a project coordination, operations, or administrative support role within a telehealth, clinical, or healthcare setting.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and efficient resolution of issues.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate complex workflows and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, able to execute tasks quickly and accurately under tight deadlines, while adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Proficient in using a variety of tools, including Jira, Slack, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or equivalent, and Microsoft Office to streamline processes and improve team efficiency.

  • This salary range for this position is $62,000 - $69,000 based on the selected candidate's qualifications, market data/ranges, location (ATX or NYC) and internal equity. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus, health, dental, vision & mental health insurance, 401(k) with company match, Flexible PTO, a monthly $100 wellness stipend and various other perks.
