Work Hours: M - F, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm PST

Pay Rate: $30 - $33/hr DOE

This non-traditional UX Project Lead role working with an exciting AI start-up based in San Francisco. This role includes providing oversight to a team, ensuring daily tasks are clear and being completed, managing scope of work, creating works plans for the team, attending meetings tying to scope of work, managing team performance (daily deliverables, plan and implement user research strategy and methods, and provide performance management to the team of research associates on daily deliverables.

While the position is fully remote, the ideal candidate has the ability to go into the office from time to time. Therefore, residing in CA is required.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of 20+ team members

• Manage scope of work and deliverables for team • Learn new software programs on the job

• Think strategically about end-to-end processes and how to improve them

• Work in a fast-paced environment

• Work collaboratively with engineers, researchers, and product managers

• Teach others your software skills

• Execute and Deliver on Process improvements

Requirements

2 years experience with people performance management
2 years experience with creating, owning, and implementing process improvements
Technical aptitude or experience working with AI
2 years experience creating and managing KPIs
Strong Analytical Skills
Comfortable launching and iterating quickly and using data
Comfortable presenting research findings and insights
Critical thinker thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience leading and managing teams
Experience with rolling out new projects with instructions to teams
