WHOOP is seeking a Test Technician to join our hardware team and support the evaluation and validation of our wearable technology. In this role, you will execute test procedures and assess the performance of critical hardware subsystems, helping ensure our product meets the highest standards for reliability, accuracy, and user experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Execute test procedures for WHOOP hardware, evaluating the performance and reliability of internal subsystemsCollaborate with engineering teams to identify issues and improve overall product functionalityCollect, document, and analyze test data to provide actionable feedback to design and development teamsConduct functional, stress, and regression testing on prototype and production devicesSupport root cause analysis and troubleshooting efforts as neededMaintain clear and organized records of test plans, results, and anomaliesQUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor’s degree in a STEM field preferred1–2 years of experience in a hardware testing, lab technician, or quality assurance roleFamiliarity with basic Python coding strongly preferredGeneral understanding of electronics, sensors, and embedded systemsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow structured test protocolsComfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced development environmentStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindsetStrong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributionsThis role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
