As the home of three professional sports franchises – the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers, the NHL’s LA Kings and the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks – Crypto.com Arena has proven to be a home court advantage for the local teams. The AEG owned and operated arena continues to distinguish itself as the host of major, high-profile events of national and international distinction including the 2004, 2011 & 2018 NBA All-Star Games, 2002 & 2017 NHL All-Star Games, 2000 Democratic National Convention, 2009 World Figure Skating Championships and 21 GRAMMY Awards shows. 
 
For a quarter of a century, Crypto.com Arena has been marked with performances and special events that brought international stature to the downtown Los Angeles venue including concerts headlined by Taylor Swift, Drake, Beyoncé, Prince, U2, Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, Usher, Jay-Z, Keith Urban, Roger Waters, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Kendrick Lamar, Michael Bublé, Carrie Underwood and Justin Timberlake, as well as world championship boxing, family shows and other live events. 
 
Crypto.com Arena is not only a great venue for sports and entertainment, but it also holds a special place in the hearts of the local community. The arena has witnessed many historic moments, unforgettable performances, and become an iconic landmark in the region for the most popular and important events.

Job Summary:

The Ticket Seller is responsible for the processing of single ticket sales to various events at Crypto.com Arena, and Peacock Theater. The Ticket Seller will also work Will Call windows during events, as well as customer service windows and any other related ticketing duties. The Ticket Seller is expected to maintain accuracy in handling all financial and ticketing transactions.

Essential Duties:

  • Process single ticket sales at the Box Office.
  • Distribute Will Call tickets for events.
  • Provide information to patrons concerning performances and ticketing policies.
  • Answer the general Box Office phone line and provide customer support to guests calling in with questions.
  • Provide support to other Managers, Administrators, and Supervisors as needed within the Box Office.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to accurately and efficiently deal with large quantities of cash and other payment methods; prior cash handling experience required.
  • Able to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Understand or able to learn basic computer skills.
  • Show commitment and willingness to provide excellent customer service.
  • Excellent skills in customer relations, communications, and problem solving.
  • Willing and able to set a great example for other staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with ticketing systems, especially Veritix and Outbox
  • Bilingual is a plus (Spanish, other languages)

Other:

  • Must be available to work 4 out of the 5 weekend shifts:
    • Friday evening from 5pm – CLOSE
    • Saturday morning from OPEN – 5pm
    • Saturday evening from 5pm – CLOSE
    • Sunday morning from OPEN – 5pm
    • Sunday evening from 5pm – CLOSE
Pay Scale: $20.21
