What Your Day Will Look Like

As a Unity Architect, you’ll be the visionary behind the technical architecture of our sports tech solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to design and lead the development of complex, large-scale Unity applications, ensuring that our platforms are flexible, scalable, and maintainable.

You’ll work closely with senior developers, product managers, designers, and data scientists to shape the overall technical strategy for our products. This includes everything from integrating real-time data feeds and building high-performance systems to optimising workflows and mentoring the development team.

You will have the freedom to explore new technologies, propose innovative solutions, and make high-level decisions that drive the direction of our platform. Your role will directly impact how millions of users engage with sports, making you a key player in the future of sports tech.

Tech Stack and Skill Requirements

We’re looking for someone who brings a combination of technical depth, leadership skills, and a passion for sports tech. Here’s what we’re seeking:

• At least 5 years of professional experience with Unity3D and C#

• Proven experience in architecting scalable, high-performance Unity applications

• Extensive knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design

• Expertise in designing modular, future-proof architecture that scales across platforms

• Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring and guiding teams of developers

• In-depth experience working with real-time data and integrating complex data sources into Unity

• A solid understanding of cross-platform development, performance optimisation, and multi-threading

• Familiarity with version control systems (GIT) and CI/CD pipelines

• Excellent communication skills — comfortable discussing high-level architecture with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience with Unity DOTS/ECS for high-performance systems

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and related architecture

• Experience with VR/AR technologies and next-gen immersive experiences

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools
