  • Align your work with other teams' outputs, including: usability testing, internal and external playtesting, in-game telemetry, and other user research techniques
  • Create visualizations and reports using Tableau to present findings in a clear and understandable manner to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
  • Communicate your findings to cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, product managers, artists, and more to inform design decisions and product improvements
  • Act as a player advocate and voice for users within Epic Games

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated analytical skills -- preference will be shown to those with experience using SQL and/or Python
  • Experience visualizing data -- preference will be shown to those with experience using Tableau
  • Familiarity with game analytics and telemetry
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability and willingness to work independently and own research products. Ability and willingness to participate in team level peer-review
  • Ability and willingness to collaborate cross-functionally on strategic initiatives
  • Prior experience working in the video game industry
  • Education in a social sciences, human computer interaction (HCI), or data-focused field
