About us:

Grow Therapy is on a mission to serve as the trusted partner for therapists growing their practice, and patients accessing high-quality care. Powered by technology, we are a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. Following the mass increase in depression and anxiety, the need for accessibility is more important than ever. To make our vision for mental healthcare a reality, we’re building a team of entrepreneurs and mission-driven go-getters. Since launching in February 2021, we’ve empowered more than ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients across the country and insurance landscape. We’ve raised more than $178mm of funding from Sequoia Capital, Transformation Capital, TCV, SignalFire, and others.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As the company’s second User Researcher, you will lead end-to-end research using a range of qualitative and quantitative methods and will be a part of our remote-friendly design team. You’ll report to our Lead User Researcher.

  • Partnering closely with product managers, designers, engineers and data analysts to identify and prioritize research questions.
  • Designing and executing qualitative and quantitative research studies, including interviews, usability tests, surveys and diary studies, and more.
  • Developing research plans, determining methods, creating instruments, recruiting participants and executing research.
  • Analyzing research data to identify trends, insights, and actionable findings that inform product and design decisions.
  • Documenting findings and presenting insights to teams and stakeholders in a clear and compelling way, leveraging storytelling techniques to convey user needs and opportunities.
  • Creating artifacts that encapsulate key insights about user needs, behaviors, and motivations to support product and design teams.
  • Continuously advocating for users and providing strategic insights that inform the design and product development process.
  • Supporting and iterating on processes for continuous research and sharing (e.g. rolling research, research repositories).
  • Partnering to define and expand the role of Research at Grow.

Salary range: $135-160k
