Oura Hardware UX Design Team

Location: Helsinki, Finland

Duration: 6 months

Starting date: February/ March

As an intern on the Hardware UX Design team at Oura, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience. From brainstorming to product development and beyond, your involvement will be extensive. Leveraging your expertise in interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and research, you'll contribute to the creation and testing of meaningful experiences that prioritize people as the focal point.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with members of the hardware team to explore and define potential use cases.
  • Create and execute usability studies and user testing sessions.
  • Assist in the conduction of user research to gain deep insights into user behaviours, needs, and pain points.
  • Assist in the analysis and synthesis of research findings to inform design decisions and improvements.
  • Work closely with the design team to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (HCI, UX, Interaction Design, etc.) or recent graduate.
  • Strong passion for user-centered design and a keen interest in the health and well-being technology space.
  • Basic understanding of user research methodologies and practices.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
