What does a UX/UI Designer do at Lively? We are looking for a UX/UI Designer that can join our team working on an exciting new project. You will be confident in designing the user experience, screens layouts and final graphics for a games user interface. We have a particularly exciting project involving action packed race tracks and drivers, which we are seeking a talented individual to design and build the interface.

• This role requires games industry experience.

What does a UX/UI Designer do at Lively

● Researches, designs and tests the best user experience for our game.

● Works within the design team to deliver pleasing and satisfying UI.

● Creates wireframes and prototypes of UI and interactions.

● Collaborates with the entire team to ensure that the player has the engaging, motivating, and emotionally satisfying experiences we hope to deliver.

● Devises the perfect art style for the UI, which complements the game theme.

● Upholds and celebrates UX design quality throughout the product and across the team.

● Actively gets the game in the hands of players and uses the insights gained to ensure the game is both lovely to play and delivers on its commercial goals.

● Establishes a coherent UI style for the game that is intuitive and pleasing to the player. Things We’d Love To See From You

Requirements

● The ability to design, prototype, and refine user experiences and interfaces, working with developers, game designers, engineers, and artists to establish design goals and see designs from concept to shipping quality.

● Confidence in the UI system on Unity in particular - canvases, world scales, anchoring, hierarchies, prefabs and timelines.

● Appreciable applicable experience and a preference for having shipped at least one title of reasonable scale.

● A practical understanding of UI/UX design across a range of devices and platforms.

● The ability to prototype UI to convey and interpret concepts and ideas.

● Passionate, curious, and open to giving and receiving constructive criticism.

● Able to work well as a team player in a collaborative environment.

● Academic qualifications might be a plus, but your work is what matters.

● A love of creating unforgettable, utterly lovable gaming experiences for the audience!

● A portfolio of example projects in which you produced the UI and/or UX.
