Where and how you can work... 
This role is based in Melbourne, and as part of Entain AUS & NZ, you’ll receive your own company van. The position will involve a fair amount of travel across the state, so your mobility is key. We also offer a flexible, hybrid working model, ensuring a balanced approach to work and life.


Your day-to-day... 

• Tournament Operations: Plan, coordinate, and execute poker tournaments across various venues in Victoria.
• Venue Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with venue partners, ensuring compliance with APL standards and agreements.
• Player Engagement: Foster a positive player experience through excellent customer service and operational excellence.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of tournament directors and staff to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Business Development: Identify opportunities for growth and expansion of APL’s presence in Victoria.
• Compliance and Regulations: Ensure all operations adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.

What you'll bring... 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in poker operations, event management, or similar roles within the gaming or hospitality industry.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Strong organizational and logistical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with players, venues, and stakeholders.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends, and travel across Victoria as required.
• Knowledge or familiarity with poker industry tournament structures and rules is preferred but not required.
