Job Description

Barstool Sports is seeking a Video Editor to support the Pardon My Take Podcast. The ideal candidate is hard-working, highly creative, and has extensive knowledge of Barstool history and Barstool content. This Editor will ensure ad deliverables are met for the show and editing specifically for social media platforms. You must be skilled in the Adobe Creative Cloud with experience elevating content for YouTube, and Snapchat among other platforms. This person will be extremely knowledgeable about PMT, their personalities as well as the Barstool Sports brand, and its multiple franchises and video series. This position will work out of the Chicago office Sunday through Thursday. 

What You’ll Do

  • Craft alternate versions of your content to optimize specific social media platform
    performance
  • Apply graphic elements, color correction, subtitles, and audio mixing to videos
  • Dive into and revamp old legacy content
  • Maintain a consistent and organized workflow to ensure proper deadline delivery
  • Manage the timeline of your projects from inception to delivery
  • Collaborate with franchise producers/editors about their content schedules

What You'll Have

  • Entry-level position bonus if you have experience in production and editing
  • Detailed knowledge of social media, sports, pop culture, and current events
  • Advanced proficiency with the Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, around-the-clock work environment and deadline-focused 
  • Open to working late evenings and or early mornings to deliver the edits from previous days' shows
  • Must have exceptional communication and organizational skills 

Range: $60,000 - $65,000
