THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it

FanDuel Group is looking to expand its VIP department for our online sportsbook, Daily Fantasy Sports, and Racing. We are looking to recruit a VIP Accounts Area Director to manage operations of one of our VIP Products, while also building an all-star team. 

As a VIP Accounts Area Director, you will manage a VIP team who hosts portfolio of high value customers. You will mentor your team to build strong relationships with their VIP customer portfolios in order to increase customer loyalty, while adhering to some of the highest compliance standards in the industry. A key part of the role will be managing a high performing team of Account Managers, Team Managers and/or Senior Managers who will be measured across both customer service levels and commercial targets. This role will liaise with other departments to identify new opportunities to grow the value of the VIP customer base.   

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Effectively manage and coach a FanDuel Group VIP team in order to guide them towards KPIs for bonus spend, player retention, average player value and real value distribution
  • Build out essential monthly / quarterly plans for your area's Account Managers, that execute the department's strategy
  • Collaborate with other VIP Area Directors & Senior Managers to deliver a holistic view on FanDuel group VIP customers and design cross sell initiatives
  • Be accountable for your team's Account Manager scorecard performance
  • Build strong development plans for each employee within your area
  • Be the key escalation point for all VIP BAU issues that may arise
  • Work with internal stakeholders on ensuring the highest quality training programs are in place, focusing on Compliance, Customer Experience and Professionalism
  • Monitor overall team performance to ensure that bonuses, gifts, and hospitality invitations are offered in accordance with business requirements
  • Execute upon VIP Director / VP's initiatives regarding performance & strategy
  • Meet and host VIPs at Hospitality events and mentor team members to do the same
  • Deliver against company Responsible Gaming protocols
  • Provide strong leadership, professionalism and strategic planning for your Area

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in high end customer service field is essential
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of online gaming industry experience essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven business to customer sales experience
  • Passionate and demonstrate the ability to provide top level service
  • Confident and people focused personality
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with Excel
  • Ability to interpret and present data to senior management
  • Execute targets and deadlines

The applicable salary range for this position is $126,000 - $173,800, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation.

This role includes flexible time off (including unlimited paid time off for full-time employees) and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
