Who You Are

As Nutrabolt’s Commercial Finance leader, you will be responsible for the development and leadership of the global sales and marketing finance teams. Your team will connect the overall brand strategy and our commercialization and operations efforts back to actionable financial insights. This role has significant leadership accountability and will work closely with commercial leaders across the company to drive insights, strategies, and an expert suite of financial support and advice. 

This role is eligible to participate in our Management Bonus Plan.             

What You're Good At:

  • Building, developing and leading the sales, brand, and marketing finance teams to drive organizational P&L accountability and ownership, S&OP-integrated financial planning, strategic and annual planning, commercialization of innovation, and marketing financial support 
  • Working directly with sales and marketing leadership and building a cross functional operating cadence with FP&A and commercial finance that supports the full commercial strategy on all key business decisions requiring financial insights (customer business plans, pricing strategy, market expansion, innovation support)
  • Institutionalizing ROI based metrics across Sales and Marketing teams and reporting both the metrics and the relationship to financials with context; recommend corrective or improvement operational actions
  • Driving accountability for net revenue and profitability goals for business segments, brands, co-chains, and channels ensuring support of overall Company goals
  • Onboarding new trade finance manager role and providing leadership to deliver key monthly close and reporting, including activities that drive month end throughout the period
  • Driving accountability and use of company financial tools: Tableau, TPM, Power BI
  • Overseeing the analysis of pricing and promotional activities to drive effective use of trade spend and impact on internal profitability
  • Driving cost discipline and processes on all advertising & marketing spend, partnering with Brand leaders on all forecasts/budgets, trends, ROI calculations and invoice reconciliations for full forecasting and general ledger accuracy
  • Managing, coaching, and developing high performing finance team members

What You Contribute: 

  • 10+ years of progressive commercial finance experience within the CPG industry
  • Experience at a global publicly traded company, a plus
  • Demonstrated experience building commercial finance capabilities and teams in a consumer-packaged goods company with 3-5 years in business partnership role
  • Exceptional analytical and financial analysis skills, including experience with performance management scorecards, development of KPIs and translating insights into actionable solutions
  • Strong results orientation with a track record of meeting or exceeding business objectives
  • Passion for driving value accretive change whilst managing multiple priorities
  • Exceptional change management skills to effectively work with senior leaders to understand needs and deliver programs that meet and/or exceed expectations; an individual who is customer-focused, proactive and responsive
  • Demonstrated strong teamwork and leadership skills with the ability to forge effective working relationships at all levels while building trust and respect
  • Highly intelligent and creative thought process (an "out-of-the-box" type thinker)
  • Strong self-starter and entrepreneurial drive work ethic: spearheads, initiates and manages multiple projects simultaneously with superior attention to detail, results-focused and action-oriented attitude
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present analysis and findings in both verbal and written formats to all levels of management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics. MBA preferred
