As a Web Software Engineer joining WHOOP’s Growth team, you will work directly on our e-commerce platform, developing features that increase our sales and provide a delightful experience for our members. We make data-driven decisions since any change we make can impact our revenue directly. This will require a strong knowledge of web technologies as well as a strong desire to learn.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Help execute WHOOP's vision to build/scale an ecommerce platform that allows WHOOP to offer accessories to our membersContribute to web development: JavaScript, Java, AWS and PostgresInterface with 3rd party e-commerce platforms: Shopify, CommerceTools, and StripeWork collaboratively in a business growth environment with a product and technical visionBuild software that will solve the needs of multiple cross-functional teamsConsistently deliver features and code with an iterative approachFacilitate, coordinate, and develop ad hoc experiments to promote growthQUALIFICATIONS:Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSSExperience in React developmentExperience with REST APIs & relational databasesPositive attitude and ownership mentalityStrong communication skills to work both collaboratively and independently
This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
