The Growth & Innovation Team at the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) is comprised of fast-paced, driven teams that drive revenue for the WNBA, including new business development, partnership management, digital products and data intelligence. The WNBA Partnership Manager will sit on the partnership management team, servicing WNBA exclusive partners.

Position SummaryThe WNBA Partnership Manager will work on multiple strategic WNBA partners across diverse industries The WNBA Partnership Manager will serve as the day-to-day manager across these accounts and ensure that all assets within the sponsorship agreement are delivered upon each season.

Major Responsibilities

Serve as day-to-day account manager across multiple WNBA partners across diverse industries

Manage day-to-day client service activities, including the following: weekly status call leadership, activation planning and approvals, promotional development, media planning, activation fund and media fund tracking, advertising creation and approval, event coordination and results tracking, which will require collaboration across multiple departments

Serve as a liaison between the WNBA Partnerships Team and Team Business and Marketing Operations (TMBO), reporting back on team marketing partnerships and providing league updates to team partnerships leads

Lead season-planning presentations and end of season recap presentations for accounts

Build effective working relationships and strong consensus with key NBA constituencies including: sub-departments within Global Partnerships and Media, Events, Public Relations, Legal, Marketing, Social Responsibility, Team Enterprise, Player Marketing, and all affiliate leagues

Required Education/Professional Experience

Bachelor’s degree

Minimum 3+ years professional experience in account management (preferably a sports league or team).

Required Skills/Knowledge Attributes

Demonstrated relationship management skills both internally and externally (including with senior executives); ability to adapt to various personalities and working styles

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Presentation skills, including the ability to create and lead presentations

Salary Range: $115, 000 - $130,000
