IN A NUTSHELL

We are looking for a Working Student who can join us mid of April or beginning of May and who is passionate about everything to do with data, figures and tables. In this role, you will analyze data and derive meaningful recommendations for the business as well as help us further develop our analytical infrastructure.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Think holistically: You are the support of our Business Analyst who is in charge of maintaining and developing an analytical infrastructure for Braineffect so that we can create meaningful reports and work in a more efficient way with the data that is available.
• Communicate in a networked way: By executing data requests and tickets from different departments you will take an important interface at Braineffect.
• Process optimization: You have the possibility to create your own ideas for improving processes, analyses and data structures.
• Ensure operational excellence: You will support our business analyst by fixing bugs and maintaining current data streams.
• Taking responsibility: You will support our Business Analyst at the beginning and potentially take over weekly and monthly reporting (marketing and company-level).
• Business acumen: You will dive deep into the data & derive learning and recommendations for various teams

YOUR PROFILE

• You are currently getting a degree in International Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Data Science or similar.
• You are the master of Excel and/or Google Sheets and are therefore a professional for ad-hoc analyses. 
• You are motivated to learn and work with our data platform Y42.
• You are fluent in German and English. 
• You are known for your analytical and critical thinking, have an ability to visualize data, and when it comes to your presentations, no one can fool you anyway.
• You are reliable and independent in your way of working, willing and curious to learn new things.

HIRING PROCESS

1. Submit your application.
2. Get to know each other: In our first call, we want to exchange expectations and answer first questions. Furthermore, we would like to tell you more about BRAINEFFECT and our mission.
3. Case Study: This might be the most fun part. We will ask you to prepare a short assignment and submit your results within a given amount of time.
4. Meet your team-lead: Within a videocall you will meet your team lead Hilke. Time to talk more about technical facts and the work within the department at BRAINEFFECT.
5. Office Interview: Even though it is very convenient to meet online, we would like to invite you to our office and give you the chance to get to know us in person. You will also get to know Lisa, our COO, who can also give you some exciting facts about BRAINEFFECT and holistic mind nutrition.
6. Finally - Our Offer: We aim to finish the entire process as soon as possible.
