Rockstar India is on the lookout for a talented Workplace Manager (Night Shift), to join our team, to coordinate overall responsibility and management of the Workplace services during the day and night shifts on weekdays/weekends.

The successful candidate will provide the management of day-to-day operations of the building, and its facilities services. This role is needed in driving efficiency, aligning team efforts and company objectives, promoting teamwork and accountability.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Rockstar’s large game development studio in Bangalore, India.

WHAT WE DO

  • The Rockstar Workplace Team is responsible for ensuring the working environment, building, facilities, and services work harmoniously together to support the core business.
  • We create and maintain a supportive, and safe working environment for all the staff at Rockstar Games.
  • We handle and improve various hard (SS-Technical) and soft building services, encompassing maintenance, security, sanitation, food services, space optimization, and planning.
  • We partner with senior leadership to drive proactive real estate growth strategies, leasehold improvements, and to ensure the site aligns with all relevant mentorship and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the local Workplace services, ensuring they carry out their roles and responsibilities professionally and to the required standard.
  • Handle contract management for facilities services, including procurement, budget management, contract negotiation, review of contract draft and inputs, day-to-day operations and performance management.
  • Partner with H&S management to ensure employee safety as required by legal and statutory requirements.
  • Ensure efficient documentation and improvement of building and facilities information, particularly operational procedures and documentation required for safety and compliance.
  • Partner with Security and Business Protection peers to record, monitor, and report risks, security measures, and issues.
  • Supervise space and desk usage to ensure efficient and effective utilization aligns with studio requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, multiple departments, and partner studios.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any field or equivalent experience is required.
  • 12+ years of professional experience in facilities/workplace and IT/ITES fields.
  • 5+ years' experience in leading Facilities/ Workplace team.

SKILLS

  • A detail oriented, flexible self-starter with strong initiative, excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent planning and project management skills with the ability to consider tasks and projects from multiple angles.
  • Process driven, but outcome focused, always looking for quality improvements and ensuring they are accurately documented.
  • Capable of working autonomously, handling and prioritizing their own workload and understanding where to seek guidance and approval.
  • Able to drive Workplace initiatives, plans, and projects while encouraging positive relationships with collaborators and local management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with facilities management teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to coach and develop direct reports to work as a team to ensure service meets expectations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel, presentation).
  • Sound numerical skills and IT skills.

PLUSES

  • Proficiency in local language.
  • Experience in Access control management and documentation.
  • Good vendor management and understanding of the local statutory regulations.
  • Experience with work order ticketing systems, space management tools and construction project management platforms.
  • Experience with AutoCAD.
