About the Opportunity

We are looking for a DeFi Trader to help lead and scale trading strategies across onchain markets. You will work across market making, arbitrage, liquidity provision, and event-driven opportunities, including selected exposure to prediction markets and sports/event contracts. The role partners closely with quant and engineering teams to improve strategy research, execution, automation, monitoring, and risk management in fragmented DeFi environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

Trade and market-make across DeFi venues, including spot, perpetuals/derivatives, liquidity pools, and event-driven markets where relevant.
Develop and manage strategies around cross-venue pricing, liquidity dislocations, basis/funding opportunities, and event-driven catalysts.
Build and refine trading playbooks covering pre-trade analysis, execution, hedging, monitoring, and post-trade review.
Monitor order books, onchain liquidity, funding/rate dynamics, oracle behavior, and settlement mechanics to capture edge while managing tail risk.
Partner with engineers to improve execution infrastructure, quoting/automation systems, data pipelines, and monitoring dashboards.
Collaborate with quant, risk, and business stakeholders to improve portfolio-level risk controls and capital allocation.

What We Look For In You

Strong track record in systematic trading, market making, arbitrage, or event-driven trading, ideally across crypto or other electronic markets.

Deep understanding of market microstructure, probability-based pricing, execution quality, and risk management.
Proficiency in at least one programming language, with Python preferred and Rust, C++, or Java also relevant.
Experience with onchain execution constraints, including gas, slippage, liquidity fragmentation, settlement risk, bridge risk, and smart contract risk.
Ability to translate trading ideas into clear requirements for quant research, engineering implementation, and operational monitoring.
Strong communication and collaboration skills across quant, engineering, risk, and business teams.

Nice to Have

Experience trading prediction markets, sports/event contracts, or other event-driven instruments.
Familiarity with CEX/DEX hedging workflows and delta-neutral risk frameworks.
Experience building or working with real-time automation around market catalysts, news, or liquidity changes.
Knowledge of oracle design, market resolution, dispute windows, and settlement edge cases.
Experience trading on perpetual DEXs or managing DeFi-native derivatives strategies.
Sports modeling experience, such as team/player priors, injury/news impact, and implied probability calibration.
