The division is broken out broadly into five core business areas: Ad Sales, which manages relationships with agencies and businesses of all sizes; Advertising Product & Solutions, which develops, operationalizes, and scales the products and solutions that enable innovation, automation, and performance across our ad sales ecosystem; Strategy, which uses research and data to guide big-picture decisions across content and advertising; Enterprise, Marketing & Communications, which manages NBCUniversal's brand and storytelling across the marketplace, and Platform Monetization, which owns and optimizes the entire Pitch-to-Pay process, from building and pricing innovative plans to delivering industry-leading customer service, and driving growth through upsells and renewals. Together, these groups combine to support the division's mission to be the industry's most valuable partner for maximizing media effectiveness for clients of all sizes.
Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to:
Brand Partnerships
The Brand Partnerships team is responsible for developing and executing high-impact, cross-platform brand integrations and sponsorships—often tied to major cultural moments and tentpole events like the Olympics, BravoCon, and the Latin Billboard Music Awards. They collaborate closely with Development, Creative, and Sales to ensure brand alignment, manage escalations, and deliver bespoke solutions that resonate with both clients and audiences.
Development:
The Development team creates sellable content partnerships and sponsorships that connect brands with NBCUniversal’s IP, products, and audiences. They act as content and idea specialists, working closely with the network and strategy teams to unlock opportunities and define innovative, sellable products—especially across platforms like Peacock and streaming. The Development team brings deep content expertise to shape bespoke brand integrations and activations.
Creative
The Creative team delivers impactful, award-winning solutions that fuse brands with NBCUniversal’s IP, leveraging top-tier talent across scripting, directing, design, production, and editorial to craft resonant, cutting-edge stories. As B2B brand storytellers, they generate bespoke, non-content-dependent ideas that support major initiatives like the Upfront and experiential events. Their work spans platforms and genres, bringing to life brand narratives that are as strategic as they are visually compelling.
Trade Marketing
The Trade Marketing team’s mission is to generate demand and drive revenue by elevating NBCU’s brand in the marketplace through strategic communications, thought leadership, and client engagement initiatives. The team is structured across three core areas—Industry Marketing, Partner Marketing, and Content & Growth Marketing—and is responsible for producing best-in-class trade campaigns, sales enablement tools, tentpole event activations, and CRM-driven marketing efforts.
Communications
The Communications team ensures the organization stays connected—internally through updates like Office Hours and Sales Meetings, and externally by managing media relations for press-worthy client, agency, and partner activations. They help shape the narrative by sharing meaningful developments, spotlighting industry leadership, and highlighting the impact of NBCUniversal’s products and partnerships. Through strategic storytelling, they keep both employees, and the marketplace informed and engaged.
