Job Description

We're looking for an AI/ML Intern to join our clinical team to advance the field of digital mental healthcare with us. 

You will be innovating, conceptualising and creating impactful solutions that seek to improve Intellect’s mental health products and services. 

Intellect is strongly invested to combine data with technology in extending mental health access to the public and enhancing the mental health journey for everyone. Hence, the ideal candidate is passionate about working with data and applying mental health research in developing novel solutions.

• Research, develop and implement appropriate AI/ML models and algorithms, such as but not limited to development of a chatbot  
• Analyse and implement strategies for data collection and extraction, and pre-processing
• Perform rigorous testing and validation of AI/ML models to ensure accuracy, reliability, and robustness
• Assist in optimising and fine-tuning AI/ML models to improve performance and efficiency 
• Document and communicate the technical details, progress, and results to team members and stakeholders

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or relevant discipline
• Proficient in programming languages including but not limited to Python, Java, JavaScript 
• Understanding of machine learning, large language models, natural language processing, etc 
• Experience with popular AI/ML frameworks and libraries
• Self-motivated and results-oriented individual with an inquisitive mindset
• Able to work independently in a dynamic environment with assigned timelines 
• Attention to details and procedures
