Applied Machine Learning Intern - Masters

About the Team:
The BI, Data Engineering, & Applied AI team is dedicated to advancing game streaming technology through its three specialized units: Data Engineering, Analytics, and Applied Machine Learning. Each unit plays a critical role in enhancing the streaming experience through unique expertise and collaborative efforts.
Our team integrates these strengths to continuously improve the quality, performance, and reliability of game streaming technology, ensuring we effectively respond to user needs, optimize the streaming experience, and maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Contribute to the development and optimization of machine learning models.
Collaborate with senior engineers and researchers on data processing and annotation analysis.
Iterate on algorithm strategies to enhance AI solutions.
Gain hands-on experience in AI and machine learning in a fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For:
Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution, with an expected graduation date by Spring 2026.
In-depth understanding of machine learning concepts, with hands-on experience building software solutions.
Strong mathematical background with expertise in linear algebra, probability, statistics, and algorithms.
Experience using high-level scripting languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
Familiarity with data structures and low-level programming languages like C/C++.
Proficiency with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, CoreFlow, Sklearn, Caffe, or PyTorch.
Experience with distributed compute frameworks such as Apache Spark/PySpark.
Familiarity with version control tools (GitHub, Gitlab) and best practices.
Experience writing complex SQL queries and working with relational databases such as Snowflake.
Ability to parse semi-structured and unstructured data (JSON, Avro, XML, YAML).
Familiarity with data modeling, software architecture, and containerized software development (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with ML tools from cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence.
Passion for understanding how things work and exploring new technologies.
Eligibility:
Able to work during one of the following periods: May 19th - August 8th or June 16th - September 5th.
Must be available for the entire 12-week internship period.
Open to students who are U.S. citizens or international students with an F-1 visa.
Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.
