ARTIST RELATIONS LIAISON

SUMMARY

 

The Artist Relations Liaison is a main point of contact between the venue and the artist representatives as well as key executives within the industry. This position will be responsible for assisting with scheduling transportation, providing information and resources to assist with artists' questions, and maintaining areas within designated locations throughout the venue.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Check-in and distribute credentials to artists, crew, and applicable backstage guests.
  • Provide relevant introductions, instructions, and guidance to artist representatives as needed and requested.
  • Serve as an escort to ensure artists get through security with proper credentials in a quick and timely manner as needed.
  • Interface with artists and management to liaise and resolve any hospitality or dressing room request issues.
  • Provide guidance and coordinate transportation for artists to/from stage, VIP areas, backstage areas, and on/off property as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience
  • Ability to work outdoors and in varying conditions
  • Experience working on tours, festivals or in event production
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and cultivate relationships
  • Strong time management skills with the exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

 

ARTIST HOSPITALITY COORDINATOR

SUMMARY

The Artist Hospitality Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all hospitality needs for the artists and crew. This position will be responsible for scheduling meals and catering, maintaining the cleanliness of the artist spaces backstage, making sure all requested items and amenities are stocked, and running a variety of errands to ensure all artist needs are met.  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate day of event meal plan for artists and crew with artist representatives/management for approval prior to event to ensure all artist and crew dietary needs are met at all times.  
  • Make alterations based on requests as necessary. 
  • Ensure the artist dressing rooms and offices are set-up, stocked, and clean.
  • Ensure all artist needs/requests have been made and are adhered to.
  • Assist with clean-up and disposal within the artists’ spaces backstage throughout the day/evening and upon completion of the event.
  • Be responsible for shopping for all artist rider items and organizing items efficiently for distribution throughout the show. 
  • Manage inventory of all purchased items by collecting receipts and money. 
  • Create itinerary for day of event develop an execution plan.   
  • Coordinate tasks with the artist representatives to ensure all needs are met and assist with errands for the artists.   
  • May assist with other projects as needed.  

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience
  • Ability to work outdoors and in varying conditions
  • Existing relationships with agents, managers and touring personnel is a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize conflicting requests
  • Strong time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong intrapersonal skills with an outgoing, friendly personality
  • Knowledge of music industry preferred
  • Available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
