Role overview:

The Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) team is responsible for managing the different digital commerce storefronts – maximising games and subscriptions sales and engagement, delivering a best-in-class customer experience. As we grow and scale the CRO team, processes and planning are going to be key to our success. We are introducing a Planning function to help manage workflow, improve ways of working, ensuring we have documentation in place - this includes training and roadmaps, setting up scalable processes across the CRO team.

Reporting into the Manager, Planning, this is a pivotal role for our future success and will be in charge of working with our business leaders and CRO delivery teams to develop a content delivery plan for PlayStation Store, establishing processes and governance for CRO content planning and working closely with the delivery teams managers to ensure a successful execution of planned activities.

What you'll be doing:

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining a Content Delivery Plan for PlayStation Store that allows CRO Build team to effectively measure team bandwidth, allocate resources and plan campaign execution.
  • Ensuring all Build workload is managed, and team capacity is understood by working closely with the Manager of Store Build as well as other stakeholders to avoid any team burn out
  • Establishing processes and governance around content delivery on PlayStation Store, working closely with the wider CRO team and various external collaborators to ensure campaigns are delivered smoothly, ensuring all projects have a clear vision, requirements, and associated resources.
  • Acting as the gateway and provide premium support to internal and external partners including:
    • Services team
    • PS Direct
    • Digital Games Sales
    • Promotions team
    • CRO Channel & CRO Optimisation
  • You will manage expectations through close alignment and frequent communication
  • Identifying systems, tools and general process improvements across all functions to improve ways of working across the team, including organisational change
  • Ensuring processes are in place to maintain an updated and optimised store experience with no overlap in R&R across the teams
  • Working more effectively with creative services on cross-channels campaigns (inc. with marketing)

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years’ experience working in content planning / scheduling for retailers, broadcasters or streaming services in a digital distribution environment
  • Ability to use analytics to optimise content schedule, using a data-driven approach to problem-solving and an ability to think strategically about issues and solutions
  • Proficiency in Excel is a must
  • Experience in global business partnering, with ability to negotiate and influence outcomes
  • Ability to juggle contending priorities; Shown ability to handle ambiguity, and a readiness to tackle what is needed to get things done
  • Experience working multi-functionally with a wide range of different teams and personalities
  • Good interpersonal and written communication skills; Strong public speaking and presentation skills
  • Understanding of Change, Process improvement and Documentation / Comms

Preferred Qualities:

  • Knowledge of Wrike and Confluence would be advantageous
  • Experience with multiple project management methodologies and frameworks such as PRINCE2 or SAFe Agile disciplines and standard process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$92,000$138,000 USD
