About the Position

The Golden State Valkyries are looking for an Associate Manager, Lifecycle Marketing to play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies that engage and retain our fan base throughout their journey. You'll flourish in a dynamic atmosphere, foster a positive team spirit, and collaborate closely with internal partners to craft communications that educate, inspire, and delight customers through key lifecycle moments via email, push, and SMS notifications. This role reports to the Manager, Lifecycle Marketing (GSW).

This is full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, splitting time in Oakland, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage CRM Campaign calendar for all Golden State Valkyries initiatives and partner with other Lifecyle Marketing team members to assist where needed across different business units
• Draft email copy for select email and push campaigns
• Collaborate with internal departments (Marketing Ops, Corporate Partnerships, Ticketing, etc.) to understand initiatives and integrate into Lifecycle channels ensuring optimal fan education and experience
• Conduct extensive QA of email and push campaigns (i.e., proofread, click-through, etc.) to ensure optimal customer experience
• Assist with tailoring copy to the proper customer segment for a/b tests; monitor analytics and create testing repository
• Stay current on events scheduled for Golden State Warriors & Chase Center
• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 2-3 years in marketing, with a focus on lifecycle marketing or customer retention.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Superior attention to detail; strong editing and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build positive working relationships with peers at all levels
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Time Commitment

• Ability to work extended hours including weekends and holidays as needed

Compensation

• $74,000 - 84,000 + Bonus
