NBC News NOW is seeking a talented Associate Producer who thrives in a breaking news, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment for Hallie Jackson NOW.
 

We are looking for someone who writes compelling copy, has a strong visual sensibility, loves collaborating on a team, and thrives in a fast-paced, quickly changing and deadline driven environment.

This position is represented by the News Guild-CBA NY.

Responsibilities

• Editing video - including day-of-air packages - and graphic elements for a live show on a tight deadline
• Collaborating with producers and correspondents to research, write and produce strong editorial copy with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Working closely with EP, producers, correspondents, and anchors
• Pitch the most relevant, timely and compelling ideas for day-of and future segments.
• Quality check all video content.
• Keep senior producers and the EP up to date with daily news development of assigned stories.
