What are we looking for?

BetterHelp is looking for Remote Counsellors to join our provider network, where you can focus on providing clinical expertise while we take care of everything else.

• Counsellors looking for an easy, all-in-one technology platform for telehealth.
• Counsellors who want to focus 100% on clinical work – not on acquiring clients, billing, support, or operations. (We handle all of that!)
• Counsellors who want a feature-rich platform that is constantly adding new clinical tools – not just video conferencing software.
• Counsellors who want the opportunity to work with specific populations or presenting concerns.
• Counsellors who are obsessed with privacy and confidentiality, and want a state-of-the-art technology platform with secure, encrypted phone, video, and text-based communication.

Requirements

• YOE: 3+ years (Required)
• Membership with Australian Counseling Association, PACFA, Australian Association of Social Workers, or AHPRA.
• A private and professional environment for conducting sessions.
• Excellent written communication.
• Must have professional liability insurance.
• Reliable Internet connection.

Counsellors are not BetterHelp employees but independent Contractors.

Additional Details:

• Competitive Compensation: 10 - 30  hours per week = $26k - $113k+ AUD per year
• Up to a $500 AUD first-client bonus* for counsellors who engage with their first client within 14 days of beginning their application.

*The term “bonus” is used in connection with this program to refer to the additional compensation paid by BetterHelp to independent contractor Counsellors that elect to participate in the program. Nothing in this program shall be construed to create an employee-employer relationship between BetterHelp and participating Counsellors.
