We're looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Business Optimization Team at Veo. In this role, you'll shape and scale the internal systems that keep our business running efficiently across teams like Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support.
This team ensures seamless integrations that keep Veo running smoothly, connecting platforms like Salesforce, Zendesk, and other essential business tools. Your work will have direct business impact - automating processes, improving data flow, and ensuring our internal tools and systems scale smoothly as Veo grows.

The RoleArchitect, develop and optimize backend integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms (Salesforce, Zendesk, Zuora, etc.). Design and build scalable APIs and web services that enable seamless data flow across departments.Enhance performance, reliability, and scalability of existing backend services, ensuring smooth operations as Veo grows.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend engineers, data teams, and business stakeholders, to develop robust technical solutions. Ensure best practices in system architecture, security, and code quality, providing technical leadership within the team.Drive automation and optimization initiatives to reduce manual work and enhance operational efficiency.What We’re Looking ForProven Backend development expertise with experience in Python, Java, or Node.js Experience with AWS and cloud-based architectures.Solid understanding of system integrations, API development, and data workflows between different platforms.Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable, technical solutions.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and software development best practices.Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with both technical and non-technical teams.Our Copenhagen office mirrors our innovative technology – with an indoor ball court, rooftop terrace, and well-equipped gym.
