Let's start with the role
The Product Owner will be responsible for defining the vision and strategy for our reporting solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality reporting products. You will play a crucial role in shaping the direction of our reporting capabilities and ensuring they meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
As a Product Owner you will:
- Define and articulate our reporting products, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and refine requirements for new reporting features and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain a well-organized product backlog, ensuring that priorities are clear and that development teams have a deep understanding of the desired outcomes.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Reporting Team and other departments to ensure seamless collaboration and information sharing.
- Establish and monitor performance metrics for reporting products, utilizing data and user feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Ensure that the development process is transparent and that all stakeholders are kept informed of progress, risks, and changes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on reporting best practices and tools, staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on data-driven reporting solutions.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex reporting products in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience working as a product owner within an Agile development environment.
- Familiarity with online sports betting and casino products is an asset
- Good understanding of technology, programming languages and software architecture is considered a plus.
