We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, results-driven Business Operations Manager for Data Strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to oversee data strategy planning, ensuring alignment with established timelines and standards. You will be instrumental in driving our data strategy and execution related to operations, ensuring that we meet business objectives while optimizing processes.

What you’ll do:

  • Data Strategy Planning: Run the annual data strategy planning process, gathering feedback from leadership stakeholders across the organization and working across product, marketing, operations & finance leadership to set the data roadmap for the future year.
  • Strategic Insights and Advisory: Develop executive-level insights and recommendations by analyzing data trends, business performance, and market dynamics to inform C-suite decision-making.
  • Data Controls, Accessibility, Governance and Compliance: Lead initiatives to improve data quality, accessibility and security, including access & operational controls, audit procedures and new data product development with cutting-edge AI technology.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee the data delivery lifecycle, ensuring that data products & programs are scoped, designed, and executed according to project timelines and specifications.
  • Operational Efficiency: Implement and optimize processes to streamline data operations and data product development, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, engineering, product, finance & operations teams to ensure timely and successful data product delivery.
  • Requirements Management: Ensure all product requirements are clearly defined and communicated to relevant teams, tracking progress and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Timeline Management: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, managing timelines and milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on data program performance against KPIs, providing insights to improve future planning, operations and execution.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks to project timelines and deliverables, implementing strategies to mitigate these risks proactively.

What you have:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data, Product, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management or program management, focusing on operations and/or planning or in a consulting field with similar experience.
  • Technical Background: Familiarity with technical concepts and data product development processes, ideally with experience in data, analytics, software or systems engineering.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with experience in using data to drive decision-making and improve processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.

Where you’ll live:

  • While we prefer candidates based in Atlanta, we are open to qualified applicants from anywhere in the U.S. and are willing to consider remote candidates.
