Who we are

The Payments Operation team oversees the integrations of our merchants onto our integrated payment partners as well as assisting cross functional payments teams with operational support and assistance. The Business Operation Specialist will have a wide range of responsibilities, including completing integrations and migrations, operational procedures, assisting with Payments products and project-based activities.

About the right team member

The Payments Business Operations Specialist will complete operational tasks, payment integrations and collaborates with stakeholders across Payments teams. This position will be involved with payments migrations, processes related to the Payment Operations team as well as other Payments driven products such as Capital. The Payments Business Operations Specialist is detail-oriented, consistent, and focused with the ability to effectively communicate across Payments functions.

About the role

  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute business initiatives and operational plans that support MINDBODY product and growth objectives.
  • Complete payment integrations to board merchants onto our integrated payments partners.
  • Assist with current payment operations processes.
  • Support existing Payments products such as Capital.Assume ownership of product documentation, business processes, and workflows to improve the speed of business.
  • Identify, research, and solve payments operations-related issues.
  • Support and assist in developing Payment Operation driven products and processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the Payments functions to assist the onboarding of new clients and support existing clients.
  • Support and help develop resources for payment operations, ensuring all content such as job aids, guidelines, and templates for key areas of the department are current and relevant.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Skills & experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics or related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in business operations, program management or project management.
  • Proven experience with formally documenting workflow and processes for optimization.
  • An independent, forward thinker that affects change to accomplish overall business objectives.
  • Successful at multitasking, organization, and time management.
  • Writes clearly and effectively for a variety of situations, including, but not limited to, mapping payment processes and workflows.
  • Proficient to advanced experience with Google Applications and MS Office, including Excel.
  • Thrives in fast based, results oriented culture; proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on data analysis.
  • Change management expert.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify patterns, process information quickly and make decisions in a timely manner.
  • Proactive about new initiatives; not afraid to ask questions and challenge status quo.
