Position Details

Position Title: Casual Regional Talent Centre Coach
Company: Southampton Football Club
Location: London Development Centre
Status: Part time

Position Summary

This Casual Regional Talent Centre Coach role will contribute to Southampton FC's world-renowned Academy system. The position involves developing young talent, implementing coaching programs, and maintaining our reputation as one of England's premier youth development centers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality coaching sessions to Academy players
  • Implement the club's player development philosophy and methodology
  • Monitor and assess player progress and development
  • Collaborate with other Academy staff and departments
  • Ensure safeguarding and welfare of young players
  • Contribute to the club's talent identification and recruitment programs

Qualifications

  • UEFA coaching qualification (minimum UEFA B License, UEFA A preferred)
  • Experience working in youth football development
  • Strong understanding of player development principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • FA Safeguarding Children certification
  • Enhanced DBS check required
  • Passion for developing young players
