As a Client Analytical Liaison you will serve as a bridge between our clients and the teams building and supporting our panel and sample methodology. You will help address client questions and needs by explaining methodology at varying levels of depth, defining specifications for deep-dive analysis, and analyzing and summarizing data and research findings for clients. You will serve as an advocate for client measurement needs to help guide measurement and research methodology decisions. You will collaborate across the business to serve our clients, as well as work cross-functionally with Panel Methods, Field, Panel Operations, and Product Leadership to drive business decisions relating to Nielsen Panels and sample methodologies. Become an expert in Nielsen’s Audio Panel and Audio Diary sample, with a focus on analyzing impacts to methodology and answering client inquiries. Engage in continued learning to understand how the changing media ecosystem impacts clients and Nielsen's measurement solutions.
Prioritize and address client questions through multiple channels in a timely manner. Build relationships across the organization to help support resolution of complex questions.
Handle multiple projects from beginning to end including analyzing data, summarizing results, and presenting research findings to audiences with varying levels of knowledge and experience.
Identify gaps in current methodology and/or functionality and work with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement necessary fixes or future enhancements.
Contribute to cross-functional product and methodology related discussions.
Create clear documentation and presentations that explain ongoing trends in our Audio samples
Education: Masters degree in business analytics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field
Experience: 10+ years of experience in producing data-driven insights and creating compelling summaries for a wide variety of internal and external audiences. Prior experience in media measurement or consumer behavior preferred.
Enjoys digging deep into a research problem and asking questions; passionate about data integrity and data quality
Experience producing data-driven insights using tools such as SQL, Databricks, R, etc
Significant experience summarizing insights and presenting research findings, often in the form of a compelling story
Well-organized, clear communication, and an ability to adapt to a wide range of audiences/report-out formats
Strong project management skills and an ability to handle multiple competing projects/priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills and team mentality, ability to effectively influence, negotiate and communicate within and across various levels in the organization and form meaningful working relationships
Data Visualization experience, preferably via BI tools such as Tableau
