• Care deeply.

Backed by top-tier investors, Numan is already having a positive impact on hundreds of thousands of patients here in the UK, and we want you to help us deliver this mission!

The Role

As the Clinical Product Leader for Obesity, you will take ownership of how obesity care is designed and delivered at Numan - combining deep clinical expertise with product and operational insight to set strategy, shape models of care, and lead cross-functional teams.

This leadership role is responsible for ensuring clinical integrity, embedding safeguards, patient education, and clear pathways into the product experience to deliver trusted, effective care at scale - positioning Numan as a leader in digital obesity treatment.

You'll be:
  • You’ll be defining and integrating the clinical strategy for obesity care, ensuring alignment with regulation, safety standards, and patient needs.
  • You’ll be staying ahead of guidelines, emerging evidence, and innovations in obesity and metabolic health to inform product development.
  • You’ll be providing leadership in obesity care within a digital health setting—partnering with Clinical Product and Clinical Operations to evolve models of care and translate them into scalable, safe, and effective workflows.
  • You’ll be bringing clarity on clinical constraints and opportunities, ensuring product design reflects safety, effectiveness, and patient experience.
  • You’ll be supporting teams to embed safeguards and patient education into new pathways, diagnostics, and decision-support tools.
  • You’ll be owning clinical outcome metrics at group level, including safety, eligibility, treatment initiation, and treatment outcomes.

  • We’re looking for someone who has:
  • A valid medical license and substantial experience in clinical practice.
  • Deep expertise in obesity, endocrinology, diabetes, or metabolic medicine, including hands-on experience prescribing and managing GLP-1s.
  • Confidence navigating complex clinical decisions where evidence may be limited—drawing on research, expert consensus, and sound judgment.
  • A proven track record of designing and scaling clinical workflows in regulated healthcare environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of obesity care pathways and long-term metabolic/weight management strategies.
  • A systems-oriented mindset that integrates clinical safety, patient outcomes, and operational excellence.
  • Innovative thinking that challenges conventional models of care and positions Numan at the forefront of obesity treatment.
  • Strong experience collaborating across functions and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate clinical reasoning and safety principles to diverse audiences.
  • Comfort thriving in fast-paced, high-growth settings—balancing clinical rigour with pragmatic execution.
