Let’s start with the role

The Commercial Contract Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing the entire lifecycle of commercial contracts. This includes keeping track of all new and existing agreements and ensuring that these agreements are properly processed and documented.

As a Commercial Contract Manager, you will:
  • Manage the contract lifecycle from initiation to closure, including contract execution, amendments, renewals and terminations. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations;
  • Act as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries and issues, fostering positive and collaborative working relationships;
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as procurement, finance and operations to coordinate contract activities and ensure alignment with business objectives. Provide guidance and support to colleagues regarding contract-related matters;
  • Manage tight deadlines, by prioritizing agreements and regularly following up with relevant stakeholders;
  • Keep track of all existing agreements and ensure they are properly documented;
  • Identify areas for improvement and actively participate in implementing new or revised processes and methods to enhance efficiency, accountability and visibility;
  • Offer training and coaching on commercial processes and best practices to other team members;
  • Provide general assistance to the Commercial Department as required.

What you'll bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position;
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, finance, or a related field; 
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in contract drafting, review and analysis;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment;
  • Fluent English with excellent command of writing and communication skills;
  • Ability to synthesize data, summarize the most important aspects and create actionable insights for decision makers;
  • Maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive business matters;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving & decision-making skills;
  • Ability to align and work within a global organization in different time zones.
